I have acute non-allergic rhinitis and if this is what you are talking about there is nothing that helps and no interest in the medical community to help or find something that will help. I even learned to spray salt water up my nose till it comes out my mouth at "their" insistance ;;; and, for what? Because I would not parise his cures which did not work, the allergist told me ther was nothing he could do for me. I went from there to major medical center and they told me to go on internet and keep trying things lay people came up with until one helped me. As the medical community does not care. Not enough money in it for them.

Rhinitis is a form of allergies. Everyone has allergies, but only certain things trigger them. You can try taking an 'everyday' allergy medicine or visit your doctor for a prescription one.

go to your Dr., they will often give you a nasal spray called Rhinocort or similar steroid nasal spray. this really helped me. you can also try to reduce the allergens in your environment. perhaps ask your dr. to refer you to a allergist and see what you are sensitive to.
