wow! I don't know anyone who does this ... though when I'm tired I like to lie down and talk to my boyfriend on the phone before I go to sleep, and sometimes my eyes are closed then ... but in everyday situations and not at work!!! LOL

Some people think in pictures, so when telling a tale they have to close their eyes to see the picture they are speaking of

Yes. He is faced with a difficult question by his customer and has to think hard for a lie to cover up his mistake so as not to lose the deal and maintain his image in fromt of his employees.

It's probably for concentration. I do that when I'm listening to music, so I can concentrate on the words.

I never close my eyes,but I do stand up and pace around for almost every call.

Sometimes i do it involuntarily but i think it helps visualising a person or situation
