Absolutely.
I'm at least glad to hear that you are waiting for it instead of causing it. Sounds like you've got your head on a lot straighter that you thought and a lot more than most people. I wont tell you exactly what I'm going through right now as far as that same thing but I will tell you that it's nice to find someone who's common sense is the dominant factor in your emotional state and actions. I will say yes, even yesterday I wished for death. It really sucks I know. But I also know that life for everyone does not end when you die. You live on eternally either in Heaven or eternal life in HELL where you can feel 100% of physical pain and emotional torture. In Hell, The enemy finds ways of making you re-live how you died only he will intensify it and drag it on as long as possible while his demons torture you. Then it starts all over again. And that is how you will continue to live for eternity. I sound psychotic dont I? Well although I can be, right now I am telling you the truth. There is a book written by Mary Baxter called "Devine Revelation of Hell". It will explain what I'm saying and lots, lots, more. Be careful though because this isnt a made up horror show or novel. It is reality. Im sharing this with you though because I feel you are one of those people who want to know more even if it gives you reason to keep your head on straight. My point is if your head ever tips and you start thinking about helping speed things up with death, suicide sends you straight to Hell, no questions asked!!
Death is not satan or "the enemy" It is death. There is no person or being with that name. Either God, yourself, the enemy, freak accident, or basically just your time, that is death. If you are going to wish for it, do it with prayer and tell God. He knows!!!

How do you know that death will take you away from sorrow and self-burden? You don't. You have the ability to get over whatever you are dealing with, with or without help. I recommend the latter. Your body can play tricks on you with hormone imbalances, etc., that can effect your way of thinking. Don't do anything permanent, it could possibly be worse than you ever imagined! Hang in there, we need you here! hug

Yes, unfortunately this is a classic symptom of depression. You could be just having bad day , but if you feel like this everyday, you may wish to seek treatment whether it be counseling or medication or both. Why suffer, if there is a chance you could actually enjoy life?

In the metaphysical books I've read you end up alone in a dark gray world where no one can help you. To see what I'm talking about watch the movie what dreams may come with robin williams. He travels down to save his wife after she kills herself. At first he can't even communicate with her but finally he's able to talk to her and convice her to go with him and he saves her.
Sometimes I feel really down but at least I have one beautiful friend that cares about me. So find someone that you can talk to and get help.
