I wouldn't take anything unless it is really bad. If it is a cold, I would just wait until it goes away. If you HAVE to have something, drink organic herbal teas. Very good for you and your baby!

I've heard that pregnant women should not take any medicine, unless given to her by a doctor. My aunt would drink hot tea with honey when she had a cold, so maybe try that.

Hi!! I had a baby in December and had a bad fall cold...my doctor gave me a list of "safe" meds for preg mom...Sudafed...PLAIN SUDAFED...not the 12 hour or the daytime or night time, just PLAIN...the little red ones that you have to take every 4 hours but always check with your doc!! Better safe than sorry!!

It is advisible not to use any medicines when u r pregnent.Take 1 cup of Hot milk mix 1-2 teaspoon of Black pepper powder and drink that will give relief . Also eat more citrus fruits

if possible, nothing, only herb tea and other natural products. But when I had a high fever during pregnancy, I took a couple of paracetamol tablets. just that u should reduce the dosage and dilute the medicine with lots of water (mix, I mean)

The best are teas and natural beverages like the ones made with pineapple, oranges, lemons, limes,grapefruit for the high % of vitamin C. If I was call I also call my gynecologist.

I was given a list of over-the-counter meds that you can take - and the one listed for a cold was Sudafed (regular strength).

Afrin nasal spray but only for a short period, and Tylenol. Otherwise steam showers for congestion. That's what my MD let me take.

This is really a question you need to ask a doctor.

My unprofessional opinion is that you have to live with cough drops, tea, and chicken rice soup - but that's just me.
