Middle East is main source of American power. Iran's influence is increasing in the Middle East and even Pentagon has admitted that Iran is most infuential nation in even Iraq. If America fail to destroy Iran, than America will loose control over Middle East and its Superpower status may vanish.

We will never again sing "oh happy days..." but will enjoy the experience of living in the brand new dark ages.
You will be drinking no more booze and will be dancing at parties only with your same sex friends. You may also not see the face of your fiancee before the honeymoon.
But don't worry. Be happy! On the other hand, you will be praying several times per day and will finally be entitled to a great reward in Heaven, at zero costs to the national budget!

I don't think America ever HAD control of Iran. Did we have control of Iran during the hostage crisis, NO. Reagan had to trade arms for the hostages, remember? Why the hell do we have to keep "nation building" in the Middle East? People in Iraq and Iran do not want democracy, their culture is totally different from ours. Let's get some more skilled intelligence people in the Middle East and shift out the terrorists as we should have done to begin with.

As much as I disagree with my countrys current administration and foreign policies, I have to say your question is rather annoying. People always seek to destroy what they don't understand. Yes the US may be floundering now due to its current ways, but if we change course we will be around forever. We dont have to control the middle east to remain a super power. We have to become dependent of any oil and use an alternate source of energy.I also dont believe Iran is as bad as our government says it is.I really do hope you people living in Iran or any middle easter country know that just because the government does one thing doesnt mean the people of the country feel that way.

Destroy the Iranian government not the country of Iran. If the government isn't destroyed than Russia, China, and the terrorists win. Russia and China are engaged in a new cold war with the U.S.. From the American perspective the war is hot and on going. China and Russia support the terrorist regime of the Iranian government. They watch and wait patiently. They will reap enormous benefits if we do not dethrone the Iranian government.

america is not at war (yet) with iran so there is nothing to win or loose
if the USA desides to wage a war against iran it will attack its terrorist elements existing in Iran and not the country of iran wich means we will put iran into a civil war and watch them kill each other so we can go in after and steal their resorces but only after they had killed each other and are begging for or help
as far as being the most influencail country in the middle east well we would not want to fight a nothing country would we(iraq)
