No, I would not vote for Brown. I would not vote for any of these lot. They are cowardly, selfish, self-serving idiots. The only way to make this country great again is by revolution.

Generally speaking, people vote for the PARTY rather than its leader and Brown will presumably still get the vote of Labour supporters. However, he does not strike me as a natural leader or as being very charismatic. Maybe, on the other hand, people will look for substance rathe than image now (after the hollowness of Blair) and so like the fact that he seems quite uncomplicated and unglamourous. I think he will still garner a lot of votes. It might be though that Cameron (whom Blair has never had to stand up against at election time) will be sufficiently popular now to swing it for the Conservatives - plus of course many people will think it is time for a change and/or will be disillusioned by Labour

I voted enthusiastically for New Labour in 1997 and 2001. After the Iraq fiasco I swore never to vote for them again. Tony Blair may be a smarmy, lying **** but he is also the face of New Labour. Getting rid of Balir and ushering in Brown changes nothing. There is no way that Gordon Brown can claim not to be associated with Tony Blair's disastrous international and domestic policies (tell me how you finance costly wars without the approval of the Treasury!)

Sorry no I'll vote for David C. My council tax continues to go up by stupid amounts and TB doesn't really seem to be coming up with any suitable substitute. If it continues to climb (even with my 25% single persons allowance I still find it difficult to pay) I will sell the house and rent as that's a lot cheaper to run than my small house.
Apart from the C'tax I just think UK is a complete rip-off lately. We seem to let anyone simply into the country and the governments say "yes they need to act" but nothing's being done like so many problems we have. I realise they can't all be solved but you'd like to see at least a step towards the right direction or see that someone's listening out there. I think this party has had it's day. Mind you they've always been the same.
Pitty we can't drum up Maggie to sort us out again.

in basic terms the voters of Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath had the possibility to vote for Gordon Brown. something human beings did no longer - that's how the equipment works. on the time of the 2005 familiar Election, best Minister Tony Blair had mentioned that he might stand down earlier right here familiar Election. the main possibly guy or woman to be triumphant him as chief of the Labour social gathering and ability best Minister became into Gordon Brown. Labour have been decrease back with a great majority. Blair resigned. Brown took over. all human beings who voted for a Labour candidate did so understanding that Brown became into possibly to alter into best Minister. all of us who claims that Brown is an unelected best Minister is mendacity. Unpopular specific, incompetent possibly, yet unelected actually no longer.

That parasite has taxed everything alive and dead in this country! He's ruined pensions, brought people who can barely afford a mortgage into stamp duty and inheritance tax bands. Just about driven motorists off the road with car tax and petrol duty. And as for trying to better yourself and earn more - forget it, every way you turn Browns got his thieving hands in your pocket. It will shortly be our turn to let them know what we think, make your votes count!

NO. he's comes across as too shrewd and decisive.
I cant put my finger on it, but I just dont like the look of his nose, this is my serious opinion.
No to his nose.
I also somehow think this whole 'feud' between him and blair is just made up for attention.
