Dunk them in some Coca Cola for about 10 minutes then polish them with kitchen roll - works like a charm!

Leave it in a bowl of coca cola overnight or dip a wet finger in cig' ash,rub over silver then polish with a dry cloth.It really works

get a salad bowl, line it with silver foil and then put coca cola in it, then add ur jewellry u wont believe how clean they come up

Lemon juice is acid and will eventually cause pitting. Try olive oil and a soft cloth.
Paper towels will turn silver black again.

I know this might sound mad, but but them in a sock securely and put them in with a wash in your washing machine. My mum done it once by accident and they came up great.
If you don't want to do that just leave them soaking in washing up liquid over night, then scrub them with an old tooth brush.
Also an Ultra sonic bath is great, we have one in work which we all use to clean our jewls:

drop it in vinegar for a few minutes then dry and buff It with a soft cloth, paper towel wont make it shine.
it works with gold too.
i do this with all my jewellery it works x

Ciggarette ash. I know i sounds gross but my mum sells silver and this is what she rubs on it and it looks great. Maybe it would work with any ashes.
