Harry Potter! Not even close.
Harry Potter movies are based on wonderful books that tell a full compelling story, the Pirates of the Caribbean movies are based on a ride at Disneyland! They really can't be compared. The Harry Potter movies have a stunning cast of some of the best actors in the world: Richard Harris, Maggie Smith, Alan Rickman, Jason Isaacs, the list goes on and on. Pirates has Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, and Keira Knightly -- so what? They are pretty faces, but not exactly great actors.

I like Pirates for a movie but Harry Potter has a better story.

So far, Pirates of the Caribbean in the best. Besides, the total gross is higher than Harry Potter. Hehehe.....

I absolutely love P. of the C. but my favorite would have to be Harry Potter because there are books behind the movies and I like having more information than 2 hours of live action can give me.
