So many women these days have a "trampstamp" across the base of their back. Do you think this looks neat?

Yes I like tattoes on a woman. One arm completely covered is very sexy. A trampstamp? It looks okay. Kinda "neat". If it covered the whole lower back and was a big-assss tattoo, then it would probably have more appeal.

I'm not crazy on huge tattoos. I do like smaller ones that accentuate or give you a small peek at another part of anatomy. By the way, I liked your definition "trampstamp"! Haven't heard that one before. (sexy avatar too.)

I think it really depends on the woman and the tattoo. I've seen some really bad tattoos on women, and some really good ones. It's kind of like a haircut, you have to get something in a place and a design that works for your body and looks good. A tattoo that looks good on you might not look good on me. It's all different.

Small discreet tattoos are OK but large in ya face stuff just looks awfull ! Cheap and tacky - imagine what it will look like in 20 years time when the skin has become a little saggy ! Nightmare !!! And also i think if we where supposed to have pictures and other design work on our skin we would be born with it already in place. Na dont do it.

NO. Not a trampstamp or ho tag. NO.

Sorry, I just awoke. This question just cries out for a Dr. Seuss answer, and I can't think of one.

Everyone has their upper limit on the "right" number and size of tattoos. I like small tattoos on women or men, things that signify something about them that's important enough to them to have it engraved permanently on their skin (the names of children, for instance - I have a very personal tattoo of this kind where it is rarely on public display). I don't like heavy body coverage much, though see below.

I don't like what you call "tramp stamps" much - I call them ärse antlers if they're that wavy Celtic style coming up from the base of the spine. But the bottom line is, it's not up to the viewer whether they are nice or not - I had mine to please me, not anyone else. If someone wants a tattoo, piercing or a particular item of clothing, it's really none of my business to judge.

I wouldn't get one on the base of my back because so many women have them and they can look a bit chavvy.

I just have one tattoo - my boyfriend's name in chinese script (because it looks nicer than in English!!) on my right shoulder blade. It looks nice when I'm wearing a strappy top or whatever but isn't too "in your face".

My BF has my name (also in Chinese script) on his right bicep. He has to keep it hidden at work as they don't like tattoos on show so I think its worth getting tattoos in a place where they can be covered with clothing rather than forearms etc.

I love tattoos on men!!!

I think 1 or 2 small tasteful ones in certain places can be dam sexy. But if its a giant dragon on a bike or something that runs the length of her arm then NO!
