I donthave inlaws but they are my childs gran parents but they call me the dawta in law, however his side of the family are great, however if ur having problems just avoid them or if u have balls stand up to them and ask them what the problem is, they are probably jealous of what you have..... A RELATIONSHIP!

In the Mediterrannean, once you get married to a man, you get married to the whole family; his mother considers you to be her child and starts breaking your nerves, indicating things you have not done well or you should do in a better way...
His sisters start telling you what you do wrong with him -because they know him from birth, while you are "fresh"- and criticise everything that has to do with you: hair do, dressing style, make-up, your friends, your cooking, upbringing children, decorating the house...
And it goes without saying that this happens when he IS NOT in the room; the worse thing to happen is if they continue the same thing in front of him and he does not react!!!!
Then you tell me!

If they make your life miserable, kick them out -politely though-!
Life is short, you know...

My girlfriends mother is the archetypal mother in law from hell.
She is an interfering, dried up old hag with nothing better to do than get involved where she isn't required.
But I'm not bitter.

my ex b/f's sister n law used to do this and was so sneaky. she'd wind me up and id end up blowing up at her in front of everyone and then id look like the nutter.

it manipulation but as long as you know that your a good person then forget what everyone else thinks .

YES! Right now, my siser-in-law and her two children are staying with us. Man the things that you get to know about them. She lies on a continuous basis. The only reason that she is still staying with us is because of her children.

my sister in-law is such a cow. i have never done anything to her, but she insists on being awkward, which has stopped me from going on family events, she has done a few sly things to me but when i tell my fella he says I'm just being picky and i should just get on with her. or this is the best one ( you know what shes like! ) i do and that's why i would just prefer to out of her way,

I have made a decision not to answer any questions which are not written in proper English. I am fed up of reading "u" for "you" and "ur" for "your" - it is the slippery slope and it is hardly a good example for the youth of today.
