It's tough to compare the two because MJ was so interdependant upon his teamates, while Tiger stands alone against a golf course.

I'd call it even.

Tiger, in a sport that is individual (no one to depend on but yourself when you're on the golf course) and tougher to win on a consistent basis (a pro golfer has had a good season if he wins 1 or 2 tournaments) has the greater will. Jordan though the greatest basketball player ever, still had teammates he could rely on during the heat of competition.
Point of interest: There are anywhere from 42 to 46 PGA tour events.

Jordan!! It's tougher to will a team to victory than it is to will yourself to an individual victory. If basketball were a 1 on 1 game, then Jordan would be far superior to anyone else in basketball, and Tiger wouldn't even be in comparison to him. Even when he's sick, he brings his game to the court.

Tiger surpassed jordan..

He did it all by himself..

While MJ had to have Pippen by his side and Coach Phil Jackson!

Tiger Woods won 5 straight tournament by himself..

wow. good question, but i would have to say MJ does, played with the flu and scored 38 points against Utah in the 1998 NBA Finals. was virtually never injured with the bulls (aside from his second season) and won 6 championships, could have won 10. but tiger wow, i mean look at him. i still gotta say MJ

If your talking "will to win" then probably Tiger, out of these two.

If your talking taking more shots than anyone else in order to pad your personal stats, then it's definitely MJ.
