what's ....................3?

3/3 = 1

3-3 =0

and 3*0 =0 therefore it's equal to 1

But what's the power information got to do with anything?

First simplify the values within the brackets :

(3/3) equals 1

and (3-3) equals 0

Hence after removing brackets, the expression equals 1 + 3*0 to the power 3
Equals 1 + 0 to the power 3
Equals 1 to the power 3
Equals 1
The answer is 1

Hi there,

Always do the problem inside the brackets first.

3 divided by 3 = 1

3-3 = 0

so now the problem would read

1 + 3 x 0 = 0 to the 3rd power is 0x0x0 = 0

Hope this helps!

Despite the fact that I was dazzled/confused by your question, due to the power sign, I would try my best to help you. By the way, next time you may use ^ for power sign.
3/3=1
3-3=0
3 x 0 = 0
0 ^ 3 = 0
0 + 1 = 0
Is that what you mean? <3^1>^3

* for multiplication is fine. To write powers, use ^ as in 2^2 is 2 squared. Your notation is rather unclear. If I'm reading it correctly you mean:

(3/3) + 3 * (3^3 - 3)

1 + 3 * (27 -3)

1 + 3 * (24)

1 + 72

73

Or did you mean this?

(3/3) + 3 * (3 - 3)^3

1 + 3 * (0)^3

1 + 3 * 0

1 + 0

1

=0

(3/3)=1 +3
(3-3)=0
1+3=4
4*0=0
0 to the power of 3 = 0

All equations in brakets are done first and the answer to that equation is put in place of the bracket

does that mean [ (3/3)+3*(3 - 3) ]³ ?

= [ 1+3*0 ]³

= 1³

=1

3/3 is ermmm... 1
and 3-3 is 0
so 3 to the power of 0 is 1
therefore this is 1 + 1 or 2
