Read more books that are in English. I know some people who learned the language by watching soap operas, but that definately won't work for everyone.

Speak and write English as much as possible. Make it known to your English speaking friends that you wish to be corrected in your grammar and usage so that you can improve. Often, people are hesitant to correct another person unless they have been asked to do so.

The best way one can learn it is by speaking out. Observe people sho speak English and try it out urself.
The other possible way is to to learn to speak through reading a lot of books.
Start from simple authors like Enid blyton and R.L.Stine
Then move on to Hardy boys and Nancy Drew
after that go and get urself some Sydney Sheldon, Dan brown and Jeffrey Archer books.
then settle on mario Puzo and Debbi Bedford
finally try Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
U can surely make it in a year or two!

Watch movies in native language (preferable with subtitles, so once you're stuck you can check out what it means); listen to music and focus on lyrics, try reading on English - start with children books at first (try ones you've read already so you are "familiar" with the story..)... And talk, talk, talk... at any given chance! Even with yourself!

by just using the language whether ur english is gud or not .let ppl make fun of u if ur sentences r wrong ..dnt bother....ppl learn more by making mistakes.........with ur frendz and even at home speak in english...........dont read ny books......as practicals give more knowledge than theory....................be in association with smarter ppl.............ur company affects u the most.....
