The next day were she got a place to live secret from me. And has not called in almost two months . I have come to find out she took the last three months of bills and canceled most of everything. Most of the mail does not come to this address any more. She changed almost everything that had to do with her living here. And with no contact what so ever. What should I do. I have been a Mr. mom for the past 15 years. And now the income has stoped. I don't even know why she has done this except she told me she did not love me anymore and no reason why. and how much longer should I wait. As everything was perfect any ideas on what I should do?

Apparently, everything wasn't perfect! Your wife IS pissed!! Since you have no way to contact her, the only thing you can do is contact a lawyer and go over your options.

It's obvious that she wants a divorce, but being you were married for 24 years, you ARE entitled to some properties after the marriage. Depending upon which state you're in, you are due at least H-A-L-F. Just because you were Mr. Mom for 15 years and she was the bread winner doesn't matter in court. She can't just leave, take everything, and leave you without support and destitute. Men have rights also in such abandonment cases. If you know where she works, your lawyer can have the paperwork delivered by the Sheriff's office to her. If there are any children involved and they are with you, the fact that she left can also entitle you to some possible alimony and child support.

If she hasn't taken the phones and phone book also, grab them both and call a lawyer!

Well I must say first that 24 years is not a short relationship. From what I am reading I think she had enough. She got tired of being the only one bringing in the money and felt enough is enough. She did not abandon anything unless there are children under age 18. You must get a job and seek out an attorney. Most give free or almost free initial consults. Then you can go from there. Why does everyone always say there must be someone else?? This is not always the case. I believe she is just plain tired of it.

sounds like my first wife. some people are unable to stay very long in a relationship. due to selfish attitude. they will never be able to make a oath and live up to it. I know the extra marital affairs my x had, and talking with other single women of like thinking convenced her she would be better off doing her own thing.her leaving did me a great harm, but she freed me to go on and find a more perfect person than she could ever be.they always come crawing back, riddled with guilt. trying to get you to accept some of their guilt, don't fall for this and never accept any part of her guilt. why should you have a part in making the one hurting you feel better? beleive whodad you are better off

Sometimes if you love someone you have to let them go. She has abandoned you which is grounds for divorce so that's an option. Ask her family to relay a message to her in a last ditch effort to find out the problem and possibly reconcile. If that doesnt work, see a lawyer.....she would.

I'm gonna have to call bullsh*t here. You can't even get the number of years married correct. Look at your questions...24,25,26 years? You are either a lonely 40 yr old man living in your parent's basement or you are a bored 15 yr old kid in your parent's basement.

Wow! I don't know you obviously, but I am so sorry that happened to you! :(

Of course there are two (or more) sides to every story not one, being fair I am sorry that she may have felt the way she did/does.

I hope you guys can work it out. Good luck!
