The firstdate of my last period was 15/08/06 I started feeling all the sympotoms, nausea, dizziness, very tender breasts on the 25/08/09. Am I crazy is pregnancy even remotely possible. I am just so confused I dont kno what to think especially after I had a neg pg test and my doc told me the symptoms could be due to brain swelling!

You usually ovulate about two weeks after the start of your period. So, by going by two weeks, you would have ovulated around the 29th of August. If you started experiencing symptoms on the 25th, they were more than likely symptoms of something other than pregnancy since you probably weren't pregnant then anyway. Blood tests are the best way to diagnose pregnancy (other than an ultrasound) so, if its negative I would believe it if I were you.

I understand your concern, but the best thing you can do is stay calm. Even in the worst of situations like this, there is always some kind of solution, depending upon your beliefs, but its not the end of the world. Yes, you can still be pregnant after a negative result, but that is mostly with home pregnancy tests. If you got a blood test from your doc, you should be OK. Now as for brain swelling, you should focus on that. And please....try to calm yourself. Stress like this cannot be good.

oh my dear u should not get panic so far, ususally a pregnancy test is more reliable when done 15to21 days after fertilization, so u may repeat the blood test again in such time if negative again we may look for other cause. i actually don't think it is a brain swelling cause it won't affect ur breasts, and usually brain swellings are presented of spicific type of vomitting-not nausea- it is very characristic. i'm sure that every thing will be allright and you should be the same

have more tests done, it is very possible that your symptoms are from something else, your #1 priority should be to make sure you are healthy.
one of my friends had three blood tests before hers showed a positive result,why don't you ask for another one, talk to your doctor and figure out what else it could be if you are not pregnant. good luck to you.

if you took a blood test and you came out to be negative then no sorry your not pregant if it was urine then it could be a possibility that its positive but with a blood test its always certain

Sometimes being worried can cause you to miss your period or even throw if off. Also, the other syntoms..can be due to excessive worrying or wanting to be pregnant...

Anything can happen, usually your dr. will be direct with you, but if you are doubtful, I would not start with the pill, until you are completely sure..

its very possible...you can even get pregnant on the 4th or 6th day of your period!...visit a doctor..
