Many people I have talked to say this I have talked to many ricans and cubans and they tell me they are do any of you believe in those claims everybody can't be bad you know it's good and bad in each race you know.

Mexicans are no more disrespectful than Americans.

Generally speaking no. I think what some people consider dis respectful boils down to a difference in culture, a language/communication barrier and as previously stated, shyness.
In my community, there is alot of mistrust between the "Mexicans" and the "locals".
It's no wonder when you have people screaming all the time about "those people" taking our jobs, eating up "our" welfare system etc.
RELAX- there is room for everyone, we all have a "right" to be here. Put yourself in someone Else's shoes today, and honestly evaluate how you would feel, and how you would react to daily glares, snide comments and the like.

Mexicans are the nicest people I know. Infact I am married to a Mexican Man. Although there are some that are from guatamala, they are ruder then you would not believe. I have two Brother in laws that think their woman should worship them from head to toe. That drives me nuts. But if they are from the US, Most are very respectful, and eager to help whom ever asks. They are very knowledgable, you should ask for something one day and see what they say!! Oh and most are shy because they do not know the english language so you must be the one to break the ice....

I agree that they are no more disrespectful than any other culttures in our society. I have actually spoken with people from Puerto Rico and Domincan Republic that very much dislike the Mexican culture. It is very unfortunate that they feel they are more superior. I am not saying that all people from there feel this way.

remember the golden rule. treat others like you would want to be treated. americans could be considered the most mean people because they created the largest genocide against native americans.

I take one person at a time . I deside if I want to asso. with them at that point . Everyone has their own attitude , good or needs work !!!
