This is the list of food packages they give. You get a total of 8lbs per month of formula for the child from 0 to 1 year.

There's also a menu tab on how to apply at the link.

You will first receive formula and as the baby gets older they will add infant cereal, juice, dry beans, peanut butter, milk, cereal (oatmeal, regular cereal), cheese, rice (I think), etc. You can stay on WIC as long as you qualify, keep your appointments, and until your child turns 5 years old.

I saw that someone said you get Pampers on WIC~absolutely not true! You will pay for the diapers.

I don't think that the WIC program is different in other parts of the country since it is a Federal program. But, what you get does depend on if you breastfeed or formula feed.

you will first get carry of formulation and since the toddler gets older they'll upload toddler cereal, juice, dry beans, peanut butter, milk, cereal (oatmeal, universal cereal), cheese, rice (i think of), etc. you are able to proceed to exist WIC as long as you qualify, save your appointments, and till your newborn turns 5 years previous. I observed that somebody mentioned you get Pampers on WIC~actually no longer real! you will pay for the diapers. i do no longer think of that the WIC application is different in different factors of the country because of the fact it is a Federal application. yet, what you get does count on in case you breastfeed or formulation feed.

In the state of WA your child gets 9 cans of powder formula...at 6 months they get rice cereal and at 7 months they get juice. I dont know what it is like in PA but I would assume its pretty similar.

You get WIC once a month.
When you go to get your WIC items, you normally get 10 cans of formula (I get GoodStart).

You also can get 2 gallons of milk, eggs, cheese, 3 things of juice, peanut butter and beans.

Every state is different. Call up your local Health Office and ask to speak to a WIC consultant, they can tell you exactly what you get, as well as help you apply.

you will get formula and juice, eggs, cheese etc
but it might not all be at the same time, depends on if you breast feed or not, but either way it is a great program and you will love it, helps out a lot

You get enough to keep your baby in formula till he/she is old enough to drink milk. You may have to buy extra just until you get going.
