Suicidal thoughts are part of the present day stress ridden society. Since there is a common platform here wherer people can shoot off questions-they ask. In fact, the very fact of asking shows they want a caring response, lack of which in the surroundings is the basic cause for suicidal steps. So, stop worrying-- the matured and well- measured answers will lift up their spirits to the platform where they would think--o yes, there is still someone out ther who cares for me and that will be a motivator for their lives.Added to this, prayers of the empathetic people will also help..

I think that if such questions are being asked...this means that the issue is really crucial nowadays. Many people do not really know what they are here for and find no interests in life. The situation gets worse when they have to face the difficult sides of life.Getting scared will in no way be of any help(I know these are emotions)instead, see what you can do in your daily life, among your immediate neighbours, family members, friends, people you meet etc...to make them love life. You'll then feel in peace with your consience.Good luck & plz, keep me informed.

It depends on the person.
The gender of the person can make a huge difference. Women talk suicide for attention. Men talk suicide because they intend to do it and they usually succeed if they attempt it.
Suicidal people are those who have given up. It's a bad thing to talk about because there is actually a psychological phenomenon called the Wurther effect: sort of copycat suicides.

You can't know if a person is really serious. It might be someone just trying to get some attention because they are lonely. On the other hand, school has started and it could be young people trying to gather information for reports. We can hope that no one is going to kill their self but it does happen.

Most of us fear death,as it is the unknown, and most of us like to feel that we have some sort of control in the things we do,but death is one thing we have fear about because we have no control over it.,I guess people ask questions about suicide,in the hope that some one answers the question that has been in that head space or has attempted to it,and wants to know what it felt like and did their fear of death disappear after having these feelings,or maybe they have had these types of feelings and want to know if it's a normal feeling to have in a persons life time.,and if someone has these feelings, maybe they are looking for some guidance.

Some people just feel desparate and alone and they just need to reach out and connect with someone. I guess this may seem like an open forum where they can ask if anyone else feels the same way that they do.

People have the tendency to know something, that they are curious about. It's not that they all are willing to suicide. But in some cases they do.

I think some of them want to just gain attention, thats y they do it but everybody has a different reason, everybody wants somethin out of life & when they don't get it then they resort to these kind of things.
we should try to help & show our loves &hope to these kind of people
