I'm a clinique girlie. yeah, its expensive but its the only thing that makes my skin glow. People commented on it when i first used it.
And I'm lazy too. You get the soap, which i use when in the shower or bath (Which always opens pores too)
then its the astringent stuff (Step 2) which you just sweep all over your face.
Moisturiser and then your done!!
Obviously you can add more to the skin care routine, but I cant be arsed and find the 3 step easy and it makes a difference
Go to a Clinique counter and they'll analyse your skin and tell you exactly what you need
And I find - compared to other skin care regimes, clinique stuff lasts for bloody ages. Yeah, its pricey - but you dont have to buy it all the time.

dermalogica are by far the best. i am a similair age as yourself and have taken skin care very seriously since i was about 14. i have spent a lot of money on products by la prairie and kanebo which are very good but cost quite a lot. i recently started using dermalogica special cleansing gel, microfoliant which is a gentle exfoliator and smart active moisturiser. this routine has improved my skin more than any other routine and if you use these products i really dont think that you will need facials. microdermabrasion and plenty of water are also beneficial.

Absolutely Dermalogica - go for a Dermalogica facial and skin analysis. They will give you some samples to take home and try. But having worked in the past for a number of skin care companies I can most definitely recommend Dermalogica. Its expensive but it lasts a long while and you will see an improvement in your skin tone really quickly once you start using it.

Whatever it is, don't waste $$$ buying toners. They're useless as they only tighten your pores temporarily. Instead, invest in sunscreen!
The only reason why you'd end up crinkly/wrinkly by the time you're 30 is because you're too lazy to use sunscreen for your face!
PS: Simple's moisturiser is good and cheap (:

Drink plenty of water.
Choose a moisturiser with sunscreen (I use Oil of Olay, Multi Radiance which has really made a difference to my dry flaky skin.)
Don't bother with toner, it's a waste of money. Splash your face with cold water about 20 times, it tightens up your pores the same way a toner would but for free!
And smile..... it always brightens up your face.

Sunscreen is a good place to start, however, most contain mineral oils which are the 2nd leading cause of aging in skin. So you need to find one without mineral oils. Mineral oils can also be carcinogenic (cancer causing) because of the way they are processed.
Arbonne has a great anti-aging line that gets REsults and uses no mineral oils. We also have great supplements that are full of anti-oxidants (fight aging, heart disease, and cancer).

Hi Catherine
I have found a cheap and cheerful one that I think is very good. ASDA's own. It is about £3 but has a sun protection of 15 which is very good for the price.

The very best thing you could do is to always, always wear sunscreen! I like Dr. Dense spf 30. IT has a light tint to it which allows me to skip foundation if I chose.
