yes as a child once and a few times via my own children as an adult. ive found something great to stop it, its called neem its from the neem rainforest tree, its in a spray bottle its a preventative! before that to get rid of them, i use two tablespoons of teatree oil in a cup of conditioner, cover entire head of hair, wrap the head in plastic for an hour or so and wash out.

FACT: headlice prefer clean hair - only wash hair once a week as another preventative

if you have kids you will know headlice and worms are common things.

yes I have had head lice 3 times. Lice actually like clean heads better than dirty ones. The oils from a dirty head are to hard for them to move around in. If the OTC products are not working nor the prescription Lindane shampoo you can also try this. Put vegetable oil all over in your hair get it completely doused in it. Then wrap your hair in a plastic bag. ( please do not wrap your whole head you will end up killing more than just the head lice) Leave it on for 6 hours. Killer I know. Then to rinse you hair use Dawn dish soap. Do a daily check on the head lice and then in 7 days if they are still there repeat it once more and this should take care of them all together. This is what I had to do the last time. It was recommended by the public health nurse.

Hello ..and yes I have had head lice. When I was a kid..And I want to get the word out on here..Head Lice is nothing to be ashamed of..That is what is wrong with this world people our to quick to judge you based on things like this..Their is nothing wrong with getting Lice it is spread just like a cold or flu from one person to another..What makes it bad is when it is not treated properly and me or you or whoever keepsgetting it and not treating it properly and keeps passing it around..My mother use to be a beautician and she said you would be amazed at how many people really get this and never say a word because their afraid of what people might think..
So I just think if people would understand that this is just something that happens and has nothing to do with how much money you have or how you live and not to judge people by this we would all be better off..Thanks have a great day ....

Yes I did and thought for ages I had a scalp/skin problem so it was quite a shock to be told what it was. Had picked them up from kids at school. Got rid by wetting hair and applying a mix of veg oil, eucalyptus and tee tree oils and massaging the mix into the hair then combing through. Messy but effective.

My kids have and they are horrible crawlies! I wish other peoples parents would treat their kids so they don't spread their lice. Eww I HATE them. Homiegirl they prefer clean hair by the way. Not dirty hair.

no, but my daughter did. She got it at Daycare. Turned out to be not so much of a big deal. It can be a disaster though.
