Yes. As far as I've seen, death spasms happen only in traumatic cases, e.g., accidents/violent deaths. Some spasms are major ones such as a rhythmic throes of legs and/or heads, while some are minor twitchings of fingers before becoming totally still. For terminal disease cases, I have yet to see spasm; the eyes just roll upwards and cloud over, and that's it.

I have been with someone at the time they died, and been close to two others immediately after. In all cases, there were no death spasms.
