Yeah twice from the kids who got it at school. Prevention is best. They dont like tea tea so use that in a shampoo and conditioner and they should hopefully be kept at bay.

My daughter caught it off a kid at the childminders and passed it on to me. I was pregnant at the time and couldn't put chemicals in my hair. Coconut oil did the trick. I believe tea tree works too.There are many myths about head lice, they do not jump or fly, and they have no preference between clean or dirty hair, they're not fussy, as long as they can suck blood.

Yes 3 yrs ago when 45 not nice was told the best thing was tea tree oil think you can buy a spray the nits don't like it ha ha may try it on a few people I don't like ha

My son did several times, i used derbac lotion and a nit comb and even searched through his hair cracking the adult nits with my nail.
it is a myth that they only like dirty hair and will infact if you are close enough to the infected hair travel from one hair shaft to the other with pleasure!
It is always in your schools best interest to inform the head master or head mistress as they will apreciate the information as letters can be sent out to parents informing them of what action to take as many parents are unaware thier child even has nits!!!
Even now just writing this about nits my head itches.bet yours is too..lol

Kill them with a shampoo containing pyrethrum - comes from flowers. This website tells you how to make your own - but I'd try a pharmacist.

My daughter caught it at school and her hair is down to her butt so it took 4ever to get that stupid comb through it, I wouldn't reccomend getting them, lol
