I think "being humble" isn't a matter of berating yourself... it's just a matter of not obsessing over who's better and who's worse. I take an approach that everyone is in business to do their best, and when it's time for competition, let the cards fall where they may. You can be humble but still have ironclad confidence in your skills and ability. Being humble is just a matter of not getting cocky or languishing in the concept that you're one of the best.

And even the greatest CEO will tell you there's always someone better coming up over the horizon. That's not saying he's not good enough... that's just being humble (and realistic).

no, i don't think so. Being humble means you know your capabilities more and are confident with what you have. You don't have to brag about your success 'coz bragging your success means you are insecure and you want others to agree with you right?
