If you want to write a children's story then you should write it neat and understandable. At the end of the story there should be a message for the reader like animals must be treated well or books are the closest friend. Also the story must be exciting to keep the attention of the reader till the ending...

I would start with a trip to your local public library. This will be a good place to both take a look at children's stories and at books about writing.
Browse through the children's section and take a look at what other writers have done (pay close attention to the language, you have to make sure it's age appropriate). Read as many of these as you can, it will really help!
Next, head to the reference section and see what kinds of books they have about the craft of writing. I don't have any specific recommendations for books on children's stories, but I've always been able to find at least something! Check one or two out and let them guide you.
Then, just sit down and write! Once you get a draft of the story down on paper, find some people you trust (friends or family members) that can help you edit it.
Good luck!

The basics:
Have a main character who is funny and we LOVE
Have a beginning- where is the character and what is going on?
Have a conflict or situation happen - a lost toy, a dream, a trip, etc.
Have a middle section where the character works to resolve the conflict (and have a few failures so kids know they need to keep trying)
Have an end where the conflict or issue is resolved and let us know how or why the main character is better, smarter or whatever because of their lesson learned.
Thats it in a nutshell.

Start out with a believable child or animal character.
Send him/her on an unbelievable adventure.
Try to tie in some symbolism that resonates under the surface.
Resolve the issue and set everything back to rights at the end.
