There is just my background page (im usind my dads comp to write this) do u think my comp is broke? I tried to download a porn filter netdog and after the computor restarted all the files were gone help me!!!!

can i install something when the computor has no options just my backgroud page no icons or anything?

Ive turned it off and on, its my own computor thatas broke im just using dads to ask u guys for help, once xp starts up my screen is blank

You have just learned why you should not download "free" software that you have never heard of.
To get your icons back, try:
Right click on empty desktop,
Arrange Icons by...
Show Icons
Hopefully your start bar is around somewhere.
You got antivirus, antispyware software?
If you have no antivirus software, try comodo, it is free.
I use and recommend Ad-Aware and Spybot to remove spyware. They are both free.

Try turning it off and then starting it back up. If it shows just the background hold down ctrl and alt and hit delete once. If a window pops up it just means all your destop icons were removed and your task bar is hidden on the top bottom or sides. Some people.. (maybe your dad) Do this so it will confuse people when they log on to there computer.
