You could just simply eat a powerbar, that gives you a good amount of carbs. Eat it right before pregame, so your body can use the carbs right when the game starts. You could use bananas or similar fruits that are high in high-glycogen carbs as well. The higher the Glycogen level is, the faster will your body be able to use it.
I do not recommend the use of gatorade or a similar sportsdrink before a game, but use it during and before the 4th so your body can replenish quickly and stop dehydration.
You could also consider having an extra intake of carbs during halftime, and drink a lot during haltime too so you don't dehydrate while having that break.

Depends on game time. For an evening game, have pasta a couple hours before. The starches will break down into sugars and give you energy. If it's a morning or early afternoon game where pasta doesn't fit, have something with carbs in it.
