If it's any use, we were told in Ireland that the Renault and Citroen were designed by the French to get there own back for Waterloo.

Maybe it's something to do with the 'angry look'?

Have to say though I own a Renault Grand Espace and it is the least angry looking vehicle I know. Also the R4 was a dotey little kitty and was it ever French.

The French are just a cranky nation.

And this is a FACTUAL statement:

Air traffic controllers...constantly striking, lorry/truck drivers striking & blocking roads, farmers...striking & burning sheep, politicians....banning free speach & siding with Sadaam, sinking Green Peace vessels in Australian waters.

And then to top it all off...Germany makes better cars than they do. Can't fault their food though - it's some of the best on Europe.

My Peugeot 406 doesn't but my 407 is positively growling. The 406 is a perfect gentleman, but I call the 407 the beast. lose concentration for 1 second and the speed doubles.

Lol! I've always said cars have 'faces' and some look really really angry, others positively evil and some look happy and smiley! Maybe french cars reflect their gaulic disdain at anything else on the road!

Because the front of Fiat cars always seem to represent a little face. And wouldn't your face look angry if your were driven by a mad driver.

To reflect the people driving them.
I hope this principle doesn't apply to all countries else us Brits would be falling apart and breaking down all over the place.
