The deffinition of open minded has been reused for so many political purposes that the words have no meaning any more. Objectivity and fairness are not even strived for in Western culture any more. Many gave up and opted instead for easy to digest sound bite factoids spewed by modern media over real substance. We poison our minds bodies and hearts with willfull glee. Then stand back and say why me?
So in answer to your question it depends on your deffinition. There are still some out there who give ideas a fair shake reguardless of the source. There are also others that subscribe to the agenda that adopted open mindness as it's own catch slogan even though the herd long ago moved on to newer flashier slogans.

Yes. There are open minded people left in the world. Most of the time they are overlooked due to being overshadowed by those with hidden agendas and promoting different groups.

I think there are alot, but then I do not think that anybody can be open minded about everything. There is always going to be a topic that we will be closed minded about.

There are more open minded people than you might think. People don't like to be judged so they limit their open mindedness under many circumstances.

It's good to be open minded, but one must also have core principles.
For instance, I am NOT open minded when it comes to slavery. It's wrong. Period.
One should not be so open minded that one's brains fall out.

I am but unfortuantely I don't know many others that are. People seem to want to believe what they like and stand by what they think is right and be stubborn about it.
