I reretted my indian ink tattoo so much I had it removed. Why? It made allegations toward the parentage of our Glasgow police force (A.C.A.B - All Coppers Are B*stards) but I had my life saved by 2 special branch officers 3 years after the tattoo was done. I felt like a total hypocrite, and took action. I will not hear a bad word spoken about the police now, either!
Don't get tattoos - just about every one of my friends has virtually identical tattoos - this makes me look like a true individual. Threr are going to be thousands of wee grannies in Glasgow 2026 AD who have Celtic bands, dolphins, and the Chinese character for peace on their wrinkly arses!

I am 22 and I got my first tattoo when I was fifteen and it was done by a person who wasn't very experienced as a tattooist themselves. I would recommend that you find yourself a Professional Tattooist who has either a certificate or has recommendations in health and safety. It is really important that people realize that a tattoo blotched.. can end up creating skin irritation problems in the long run. I can't say that I regret having the tattoo because what is done is done, however, i would really recommend that if you are going to get one done, get it somewhere where you can imagine being 50 and having the tattoo.

I have a total of eight tattoos, dating back 12 years and I do NOT regret one of them. I believe that there are a few rules you should follow if getting a piece of art on your skin:
1) Decide carefully! You will own this the rest of your life.
2) Always place somewhere it can be covered for personal or professional reasons.
3) NEVER tattoo someones name upon you (children excluded)
4) research your artist carefully! There are many great tattoo artists out there but many more scratchers!
Hope this helps you.

I got my 1st tattoo at age 19 back in 1993 and I got my most recent tattoo the end of july of this year.... I have a total of 15 tattoos and I dont regret getting any of them.... if you are worried about regretting it then maybe you should wait a little longer before you get it...

I got a tattoo at 16 and I don't regret getting it one bit. I love it and am saving to get it touched up as it has faded a bit. Im now 23. However I would recommend getting it in a spot you can cover up if you need to and something that you know you will always like, not something that is a fad or trend. I got a rose, sunflower and feathers as I knew they were things that I would still like no matter how my view on life changed.

I have a flower on my wrist. I cover it with my watch when I am at work. I would never get a guys name or something like that because my tattoo has lasted longer than my marriage. I don't regret it at all because I didn't do it on a whim and I only have the one. I waited for a few years.

Got my 1st one 5 yrs ago. No regrets what so ever..I only have 2 now but plan to get at least 2 more. If you have ANY doubt at all then I don't think you are ready to get one. Wait a few months and see what you think then.

I got a custom made butterfly that I helped design on my right arm... but I sometimes wish it was GONE. I don't lie it. It was a foolish place for a tattoo. Now I have to live with it. I'd do things so much more different but I was silly and naieve back in the day. At least I did not do it on my lower arm. thank goodness they talked me out of that.

Not at all. It has meaning to it. And besides, I am the one who designed it. If you are going to get one be 110% sure. And don;t get it anywhere that might be too noticeable. If it has meaning, go for it. (Just make sure it isn't of a person you are dating) =]
Good luck!
