If EVERYONE put the LID down after using the toilet this argument would be dealt with and finished!
Ladies visiting would have to raise the lid to go pee
Men visiting would have to raise the seat and the lid to go pee.
Both male+female visiting would have to raise the lid for a No2.
It would be pretty much even for both sexes.
And Panterameets is right.....the spray from the flush can spread mist containing faecal matter a distance of up to six feet away. How near is YOUR toothbrush to the toilet??

I'm not even getting near that fire, as for the toilet seat thing. Put the seat and the lid down for that matter. It's some sorta Karma thing, and it'll keep your crazy toddler from dropping your keys in.

It has nothing to do with that! If you leave the toilet seat up when you flush, it sprays fecal matter ALL OVER the place. It has everything to do with sanitation.

i think it's only right that we leave it the way it is because they have to suffer having periods and birth.

they may win the battle but we win the war. do you know why we win the war? women have to put on make up for guys and shave their legs and all those "girly" stuff for men. it is men that pick the women not the other way around.
