My new neighborhood,these people act like they have money to throw away,its nuts.This morning there was 80 cents in there and I paid for my drink and paper!I always leave my pennies but never any silver change!

I work retail and have worked my fair share of gas stations. I have seen people pay for their purchases with it. So i would purposly keep roughly around $0.24 not enough to buy anything but enough to help if needed. If I saw any silver in it I considered it a tip.

If I need 1 or 2 pennys then I take them from it. Most usually I don't leave any, some times I do though if I already have a pocket full of pennys any way.

I only leave pennies- sometimes the store clerk will take a few out to make my change even. But to buy stuff with the change left in there is wrong.

I leave pennies, nickels, and dimes and rarely if ever take from the container.
I'm not rich. I don't make convenience store purchases if I want to save money.

I always leave my pennies, yes I have taken a penny when it's like 5.01 or 10.61 something where pennies can really become useful so you don't get stuck with more!!!

I only use pennies up to 5 cents. And I leave all pennies. "Pennies are the devil, Bobby" (think Waterboy).
