HEY YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES YOU!!
Leave Phil and Fern alone.
They are bloody good fun to watch and they have humility and regard for ordinary people.......something these so-called celebs severly lack.
Go pick on someone else.
YOU WANT BACK-CHAT???
I'LL GIVE YOU BACK-CHAT MY BOY..........CITY-GENT??
I THINK NOT!

I agree with you that there are people far more brighter and beautiful than Fern in the UK. However, sometimes I think it is a deliberate arrangement by the producers of these daytime television shows that aim at women (in particular, housewives). It's not just Philip Schofield and Fern Brittain. Look at Richard and Judy. In both cases, the male presenter always looks better and younger than the female one, who is always a bit frumpy, overweight and not particularly smart (they might be highly intelligent ladies but it is not the impression they give people). The viewers at home might feel subconsciously "Oh, poor Philip/Richard, he has to spend so much time with this boring, plain woman. I could do better than she" and this feeling perhaps does some good to the ego of the viewers and keeps them watching these programmes. They get a lot of pleasure out of criticizing the way the female presenter looks and talks. If the lady presenter is clever, well-spoken, knowledgeable, chic, sexy and slim, the viewers might feel inferior, jealous and alienated. All the females presenters of these British housewives programmes seem to share similar traits of being not very smart, not dressing trendily and being a bit on the fat side. It's all for the sake of the delicate ego of female viewers. It is female competitiveness, I'm afraid.

Do what I do, turn over to MTV I hate daytime TV, I think the producers think that people at home are brain dead hence phil and fern, or better still go on and answer some questions (but be careful it can become addictive) gotta go and read some more questions, bye

Fern and Phil are BRILLIANT!! They are so cheesy and blatantly think the world of each other, it really makes me chuckle when I watch them. Especially when they get the fits of the giggles. I agree with someone further up on the page - better than Lorraine Kelly

No one is forcing you to watch them. I think they are great presenters and wish they were on at a later time. Watch something else or turn tv off and read a book.

Girls used to fancy him back in the day, and he used to be funny with the Broom cupboard thing. I hate Fern.

ITV really has had a terrible DECADE when it comes to decent television shows....even Channel 5 does better and that had a really slow start.

Boycot ITV, that's what I do
