What really happened that now every single stupid person is related with the Irish people????

i've never heard of such connection, personally.
historically speaking, though, the irish were not allowed to develop their own structures. in a time when their english neighbours had a parliament, they were still organized in tribes.
the english were, as someone said, not strong enough to completely conquer the irish, but strong enough to interrupt their natural development. ireland became an organized country in the 20th century which, considering the area in which it's located, is kind of late.
it's not that they were stupid, more of as... uncivilized. that's how they were perceived.

The history behind it is racism! calling someone a dumb blonde is a discriminatory comment that is legally racism. its just a stigma the poor irish have attached to them!

every social group has there people they think of a stupid in Australia it is people from new zealand if you are Scottish its the English(but we all know that is true).
