I'm not talking about racism- i'm half black too- i'm just talking about the cat being black- it's not quite the same as human skin.... although there is a contradiction sort of if i said fur. This question should have been put under myths etc- i didn't think.

Of course. They are children of the devil. Haven't you heard?
They breathe fire amd change into demons at night and creep around the neighbourhood killing people and writing grafiti on walls etc...Personally I also think they are responsible for crop circles, price of fuel, unemployment, crap on MTV, flat tire I had last week and everything else bad in the world.

Due to Halloween promotions and old wives' tales, black cats are perceived as being “bad luck” or “evil.” This is entirely not true! Like humans, it doesn't matter what color their outside is—a tender heart on the inside is all that matters.
Unfortunately, black cats do suffer from the stigma of their color. Across the U.S., black cats are typically the ones who remain at the shelter the longest. They are also the ones who most often are abused by cruel people during the month of October, around Halloween.
In Britian, a black cat is said to be a sign of good luck.
Part of the "mystery" surrounding the black cat comes
from the traditional interpretation of the color black.
Black is the color of the night, and of "evil." Black
can also be a color of elegance or class (such as a
black-tie only event, and black evening gowns.) Black
can also represent ideas such as power, sexuality,
sophistication, formality, wealth, mystery, fear, evil,
unhappiness, depth, style, sadness, remorse, anger, and
mourning.
Black can also represent a lack of color or emptiness.
It can also mean sorrow or mourning, in the Christian
tradition of wearing black to funerals. Used by itself,
black can represent bad luck or misfortune. Black also
is the color of black magic.

Of course not. No more than a black dog, or a black fish, or a black person. Color has nothing to do with good and evil.

If they have yellow eyes, yes they are. If they have blue or green eyes then they're just normal cats.
