Contact an attorney! I think it depends on how your inheritance is viewed through your state and court system.
Normally, anything that belongs to you BEFORE and AFTER the divorce is basically yours. How long were you married is something else to consider... When was the will generated; did your grandfather establish that in the will BEFORE you married...
There are a lot of possibilities, but I would see if I could get a free consultation from an attorney, or ask the one you have now since you're getting a divorce.

First mi amigo GET THE DIVORCE FINAL. But generally no, inheiritances are considered outside of "co-mingled assets". Just be sure to put the money in your personal account or better yet set up a new one with only that money in it. Spend NONE of the inheiritance on joint expenses at all.

I'm no lawyer mind you, but their is a real good chance she is, depends on your state, if you were legally separated and a few other things, check with a lawyer specializing in this kind of stuff to find out for sure. GL

I don't think she is entitled to any of your grandmothers money. If your Grandmother left this money for you in a will then she definately has no claim on it.

I think she may be, but as laws differ from place to place I would check with your lawyer. I think she could be entitled to 50% of it.

Yup your screwed unless you get a lawyer real fast.
Hint. Stick in a trust with your kids names and your name on it. You have control until your death then your kids would get it. Or whom ever name you have on the trust.
Get a lawyer.
