Pretty crap death dying from a stingray, when you think about all the other things he's done. Say his death was fixed on that same day, how should he have died?

(What, too soon?!)

Come off it - it's not like he had a very good probability of living past this age.

He should have been torn to bits by a polar bear. Hungry snarling and vicious. Then the bear should have eaten the camera crew and taken the tape to sell it to When Animals Attack! I think that guy was a dumb bozo!

I am tired of hearing of him, he has caused kids to try to play with scorpions and snakes out here and they have been stung and bitten, he made children who watched his show think they could do dangerous and stupid things too. I never let my kids watch that stupid show. I did not want them to try picking up a rattlesnake or a scorpion! We have wild things out here in the desert that can really hurt a child who thinks they are being like Steve, what's the big deal the guy was going to get it on day, some way!

You people need to come out here and try playing kissy face with a Mojave Green Rattle Snake or a Bark Scorpion cause Crockadile Hunter would have done it, or have your kids pick up a poisonous snake or try to go around the stray mountain lions because The Crockadile Guy would have done it. He was stupid and he could have fed his own child to that big monster of a crockadile! He was dangerous!

I don't care if you don't like my answer either.

I think the stingray for him was a good way to go, he died almost straight away so wouldnt have suffered MUCH pain.

Also, its a death everyone will remember as it was such a freak accident, only one other person was ever killed this way and that was in 1949.

I think he was great and like everyone said, he died doing what he loved.

I know he had a lot of contact with crocs, but don't you think that if one of them would have killed him it would have been a bit too predictable, and also a LOT more gory.

As sad as it is, I guess it's an apt way for someone to go who loves the natural world so much.

What you don't get, is that this was a hit. The crocks wanted to defray suspicion, so they hired for the job. This is a very intricate network, and I have concerns about national security.

Who's in control here?!!

First of all think of the family and what they are going through.

Secondly I think he went out in a pretty spectacular fashion don't you?

Let the man rest in peace and may his work with animals live on!
