If you are using a free email service such as yahoo or gmail, mark the message you received as "spam". Then the emails from that email address will not come to your inbox.

Also if you are using an email service such as Outlook, Lotus Notes, etc, then from the menu "Block the Sender". After that emails will return back to the person with a message that you have rejected his/her email.

You can block him or if the emails are very abusive, you can report them to their email carrier for harrassment. Just open full headers and you can usually find where to report them to. If this was something personal that you both were doing... sending abusive emails back and forth to each other, then just block him because you are just as guilty as he is if you sent abusive email to him.

Most email programs have a setting to block messages from a specified address.

If you know which mail service the person is using, you can report them and get their account suspended.

Or you can simply delete any messages from that person without reading them.

Tell them to stop - or you will pass on their email address to your cousin Jimmy from Glasgow...who will tell them in no uncertain terms to get lost..!! Seriously - It is quite straight forward to block & bounce back to sender their message - if you are using a email client such as Outlook or Incredimail.. get someone who is clued up to show you..good luck ..
