I always use a spray disinfectant when I check into a room. Is this rational? I have been called a germophobe but it makes sense to me.

You are not nuts!! What most people do not realize is 20 min before you checked in some one else was in that room. Hotels/Motels do not screen for health issues! Even the best will rent rooms to anyone! The only question they ask is " Will that be cash or credit!" The really scary question to ask your self is " Who's one night stand was on that bed last night" Also for PARENTS Hotels/ Motels do not screen for criminal records!!! Please watch your children!! Who is in the room next door or down the hall??
