I felt that too. Well, just don’t mind it, maybe they forgot about it. If they’ll talk about it again just smile and say ‘sorry guys, got nervous’. Or try to answer them in a joke”cat got my tongue” (is it right?) or anything that you can think of. Don’t worry about it that much. Have fun! ;-)

First of all, do not think about what do other people think of you when you are singing. You need to relax and then concentrate on your voice and song. Just try to feel the song and forget about your fears. You can also try to imagine how would you feel if your classmate sang this song. You wouldn't blame him/her for little mistake, wouldn't you?

Your problem is you have low confidence about your singing, I think. Well, you can try to practise in front of a mirror or force a famiy member to sit down in front of you and hear you sing. Juz relax a little and sing freely, don't care about what the others think and I think you'll work juz fine. Dunno if this helps but good luck anyway.

if it helps when you go to sing, dont look at everyone in the room, look at the screen and nothing else......be proud, raise your voice.....and give the song everything you've got, if you like go home and practice.....its the best way to get it right. Oh and if you know the words, close your eyes and imagine the others arent there.......

I wouldn't sing evanescence unless you can actually sing. Choose something easy next time.
