Let's say you want to copy something from your email to MS word on your pc.
In your email, click and drag your mouse over the text you want to put into Word, then click at the top of your browser where it says "edit" and click "copy".
Now minimize you browser window and open your MS Word program. Then click "edit" and click "paste". Then save your document with a name.
Now it's been cut and pasted!

You can't paste anything into your browser (or cut from it either) unless there's a form or something to paste into. Easiest way is to select what you want, right click and cut (or copy). Then put the cursor to where you want to paste. Right click and paste.
