There is couple ways there is a program called Teamspeak and there is a program called Ventrillo both are free and easy to use go to the websites just google it and you will find where to go.

the cheapest is to go to an internet cafe they charge like 50p per hour that mite be the cheapest way!dont think theres a way for free!

why not get their email addreses jus ask an then talk to them by mail or yahoo messenger or w/e you got!!
