Da!!!!! Does straight people raised their kids gay? almost a Oxymoron and it's a dumb question. If all Straight people raised their kids straight; would their be gay people. Yes, their will be because its Naturally built in our Gene. Because its not matter of raising, it's matter of Nature taking its place. You can't be raised Gay or Straight you have to develop a "natural" senses of what you are and what you about.
Its not a converted thing and ex-gay thing this is so much a crock. I am frustrated with people trying to play God with other peoples sexuality. When religions want you believe that it's a mental thing when A.P.A. say its no longer a mental issue.
Common Ground be a movie you need to watch
also for gender-bender you need to watch "You don't know Dick"
If you can explain why God gave some people Both and let doctor cut or sew their body parts while they are birth and wind up finding out in their adult life that their Hormone was differant then you are screwed up as the other assholes out there.

I know some that do and some that don't. Actually, it seems to me that the ones I've been around would prefer their kids to be straight, which is kind of strange to me, but I guess it makes sense. They may not want their children to have to go through what they do. The gay bashing. The gay-hate beatings. The unaccepting friends and family. The fear of someone killing them because they are gay. It just really depends on the person, but truthfully I think they want what most parents want for their kids. For them to be happy.

They prefer that their children be happy. I was raised by a lesbian aunt and she was just as happy whether I dated women or men. She was incredibly happy and proud at my brother's wedding and he is as straight as they come. If anything, gay parents worry about their children more if they turn out to be gay because they know all the problems they themselves experienced in previous decades.

we want our children to be happy,open minded respectful adults that find love and respect from who ever they end up with straight or gay by the way raised 4 sons all straight,my mom raised 4 children 3 straight and me and she was as straight as they come lol

No i tell my g/f all the time if we have kids or adopt i dont know how i wil react if any turn out gay...Of course i will be understanding but it will still seem so completely odd to me... i know of a mother who is a lesbain and both of her two children are also gay that to me is random and doesnt seem comfortable

people raise their children to be happy. most of us were raised by straight parents! being a gay/lesbian parent won't "turn" your child gay. this is something genetic. most gay/lesbian parents I know have straight children. it's not something you "teach" your children....if it were, we'd be straight!
why do straight people obsess about this so much? it's a ridiculous question.

Absolutely not!
Most of us wouldn't wish being gay on our worst enemy.
You can't raise someone to be gay. It's an inherent thing.
We raise our children to be good, caring citizens.
We pretty much want the same things as other parents do....happiness, success, love, grandkids!
We just make damn sure they aren't raised to be racist or bigoted.

I think that they should let their children decided what road they want take. I'm straight, but I don't think that their is anything wrong with people who choose to be this way, why should they be judged for being happy? For those of you that are to busy being judge mental, that is what the word "Gay" means. I think people who judged people who choose to be this way are no different from the KKK. Hate is hate no matter who it is that doing the hating. I think people should stop being so damn closed minded!!!!

Actually those that raise children do not "hope" that their children are anything but happy. They are accepting of whatever sexuality the child hapens to exhibit when the time comes.

No, if they are a parent they just want their child to be happy. And to know that the child is loved no matter what they choose to do with their life. Children do not belong to their parents, they are of the universe, and parents have only such a short time to love and cherish their children, before they let them go out into the world.
