Sometimes we let our soul mates slip away and we marry someone else we love very much, but that special 'soul mate' love is not there.

It took me a long time, but I finally found and married my soul mate. He had been in my life for 10 years, but we were both married to other people. My marriage failed, his failed, and after we both had time to ourselves, we found each other again. Looking back, I see how much we were actually there for each other all along, but i didnt realize it at the time. Since we've been together, its like i found the rest of me. I feel whole with him. He's definitely the love of my life. I believe we are soul mates.

According to Islamic Theology our soul mate is predestined and we marry that very soul mate and no one else. The real soul mate will not slip away and she will remain with you until you end your life. the answer to your question is "Yes".

for the times i've" been in love", somethings been lacking, maybe the soul connection.my ex and i are divorced and had 4 children together~(whom i love with heart and soul) neither of us have remarried, so maybe we were "soul mates", but for what i understand that belief to be, "that youll just know", its just not happening. my experience has been an inequality of emotion. so maybe i will someday find "he" is out there waiting to find me, well there is only so much time on this planet...lol

If you're already married and your spouse is not cheating on your or abusing you, then what does it matter? You made a commitment to this person, and there are ways to fix what is broken. If you are Christian, start by seeking out the Lord first and foremost. If you're not, perhaps you and your mate should seek counseling.

I'm a Christian, but I don't know if I believe in soulmates. I once learned in school that it's based on an old Greek myth

if we dont marry our soulmates ryt now or if we dont meet them at this lyftym...surely we will meet them at our next life..the thing is our soulmates dont have to be the one we ought to marry, they dont have to be our opposite sex.
