According me the main reason for divorce in india is because of mis understanding this is due to ego. if both the couples understand each other and get out of ego there is no question of divorce.
Any way we wish that let the Divorce rate get reduced in india

The most important and effective reason for divorce in India is the infedility of wife. If she has some clendestine affairs with some one after marriage and if this is known to the husband, he will not tolerate and divorce his wife. The second reason of divorce might be if the wife is not obeying her husband and she does not co-operate with her husband, she is divorced. Third one is when she does not adjust in the family circumstances and she is doing what she has in her mind to do without any obstruction, she will be divorced as this is the only way out of the situation.

usually in the olden days women were illiterate & they also have adjusting nature.If his husband is a bad person she used to think as her fate.But present Indian women r welleducated & they no longer can bear the exploitation.There will not be any particular reason for divorece because we cant clap with one hand.Thats fault may be with husband or wife.Sometimes both.
