HI Daniel,

Have you tried Mix Master? The wav files are of a lot higher quality than Fruity Loops. They do have a lot more samples to choose from too. The interface is set up like twin turntables but you can really add 10 samples on each side, and you can save your entire mix as one wav file. They have a trial version at download.com. I started with the free version and liked it well enough to buy the full version for $25.00. Only thing is that you need plenty of ram or when you compress the file it will slow down and speed up the tempo throughout the mix which make it impossible to add more tracks.

I use this program and other simple multitrack program called Accoustica, also available for free trial. With these two programs you can add about 24 tracks before they start bleeding into on another. You can also save as a wav file or an Mp3 file and convert and of your other wav's into mp3 format. I can also suggest to join a site like soundclick.com where people share samples and you can even request the sample you are looking for.

Would that be Jamaican music? I bet you could get it on one of the websites, or just go into a used music store, and get some cheap. They can usually help direct you to that category.

"Reason" by Propellerheads is good, but you might need to make your own guitar samples, or search for WAV files. It's got synths, sampling, drums and more!
