"Go back off"... that is so funny! I do not wake anyone and I CANNOT STAND when I wake my husband on accident and he starts talkin or moanin... I'm like "SHUTUP, PLEEEEASE!" Don't stimulate my brain! And he just does it more. Once my brain has been even slightly stimulated, there is no chance of me sleeping again within that hour. Thanks for letting me vent. n

After 20 years working night shifts i am still trying to come to terms with sleeping at night! So i'm often up during the night (Not as often as i was though) And when i do wake up! I get up, make myself a cup of tea, put my dogs out in the garden for a few minutes, then read for a while. Most nights i do go back to sleep and when i don't ... I do the ironing, polish whatever i can do quietly! My partner would get up if i woke him up but i prefer to let him sleep. I feel better being on my own ehen it happens!

Why wake up the whole house just because you can't sleep? Doesn't make sense. Try reading a book,or, a spoonful of honey with put you back under. Something in the honey is like a natural sleep aid.

I don't tend to sleep very well myself, but because my hubby works long hours and has to get up early I won't disturb him as its not fair, if I can't sleep I just get up and come downstairs and either come on here for a bit or read a book till my eyelids start to droop, then its off back to bed again to hopefully sleep this time.

I text my best friend and wait to see if he's gonna answer...if he does, we go on texting each other for an hour or so and it sort of calms me down and i'm fast asleep after we wish each other good night...
