Bang to rights!!!! How many times is Mr Ahktar gonna be caught messing with the ball before he is chucked out of cricket? (Oh excuse the pun but i was not referring to his suspect action).Its blatant cheating, But it does amaze me how on any given day he can get extravagant reverse swing! Oh and wasn't Asif pulled up earlier this season for ball tempering? Whiter than white i think not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, Darrel Hair did not umpire the 3rd ODI at the Rose Bowl and the time that the issue was brought up Shoaib Akhtar was injured and did not play. Shoaib Akhtars rubbing of the ball was checked by umpires and no details of ball tampering were found. Also in the 4th test match at the Oval the ball was checked at the fall of Alistair Cook's wicket and no signs of tampering were found between the wicket and the 15Min's of play before the ball was changed. That makes Pakistan innocent.
Darrel Hair is renowned for being a controversial umpire, he gave his own countries batsmen Craig McDermot out when he wasn't and when he gave 7 no balls against Sri Lanka, they walked off the field being disgusted at the appalling decisions.
I agree that Shahid Afridi's comment that ball tampering should be legal was a bad thing to say, but I don't understand why they are penalizing Inzamam, considering the fact that he didn't bowl a ball, they should be looking more on the lines of Mo Asif or Danish Kaneria.
Darrel Hair's statement that he would retire from ICC Cricket umpiring for $500,000 is a disgust to cricket umpiring, the fact as he is such a contreversial umpire the governing body of cricket should look into his decisions and see if he is still a fair enough umpire to umpire matches.
But just to reinforce Shoaib Akhtar was found not guilty of all accusations of ball tampering.
PS. I'm not completely sure Hair didn't umpire Tuesday's game.

Relax dude! first you got to know what is ball tempering I know you are very excited to sling mud on Pakistan team but alas you do not know nothing about ball tempering. First you forgot in your excitment that Shoaib did not play Oval test so there is no question of Hair catching him tempering with the ball. Now if Shoib was trying to bring back the seam of the ball with his nail that's not tempering coz he was not deshaping the ball.Actually "whites" can not bear defeat by the hands of Pakistan so they must look for something to blame on Pakistan while David Lloyd the former English captian said few years ago" The ball tempering is an English tradition.What you say now bloke? And now with the verdict of Mike Proctor, the match referee that Shoaib was just cleaning the ball I think your bised inner would be more "Injured" so just relax and keep watching England thrashed by Inzi and his boys.

well what about the last test match, when the Pakis were kicking buts of english men...
its just that when ever the Pakis are going to win, the "BALL TAMPERING" is brought inthe scene....
The actual culprits are the other teams & umpires....
Being a muslim is not a crime...
or is it???
Pakis are Muslims...
& thats why they are considered bad people...
& so it is related with Pakis are cheaters..
Why didn't Hair, still didn't show any evidence of ball tampering for the last test match???

well come on!! do some positive criticisim if u realy have good spirit of game. its realy boring now to blame Pakistan for tampering again n again without any proof. dont mess with this forum. if u dont have something good to share plz dont share then. Pakistan is playing very good cricket n u must have seen this in Pak-Eng ODI's series.......come on guys let us know if u have some positive thinking abt the game n dont have evil soul in u :S

lol u dope he was cleared by all da umpires...and i think dey are wiser than u and i.....
but alas england will now use dis as an excuse to why dey got their asses kicked once again....shoaib wasnt in da first match and come on he aint stupid enuff to do somethin like tht when he know all da media is scrutinizing da team...so get ur facts rite!...and people pakistan r gonna beat da brits in da next game as well...mark my words!
