Now I feel hurt this early morn since even though I talk to the crows, I much prefer the majestic pelicans. But still I feel sad since I can't go swimming out to see my friends the pelicans, since I got a tattoo of St. Michael and have to stay away from the water another week.

At heart I am a dolphin or a shark so staying away from the waters kills me but we have to make some sacrifices for art. yours Robert

maybe because Kierkegaard did not like the systems that were brought on by philosophers such as Kant and Hegel before him, and preferred a philosophy that was fragmented and made deep insights, without committing to an encompassing all-explaining system

and Hegel said that all reality is capable of being expressed in rational categories , he didnt like things to be expressed because of categories

he was one of the 1st existentialist , there questions regarding the meaning of life and subjective experience are seen as being of most importance

Probably the same reason I don't like Hegel: He wrote long, hard-to-understand sentences that make me feel stupid.

I don't think having a different philosophy is much of a reason not to LIKE someone.
