scar, because the tatoo was created by an artist at your will. The scar was created by an injury against your will.

It depends. If it's a good thoughtul tattoo with a story intended for it vs. a plain old scar from falling on the ground, then tattoo. Some scars have very interesting stories though, and they're randomly generated by nature. And, some tattoos are generic and pretty unspecial. Right now, for myself, I'd say my tattoos look nicer, but the scars have the much more interesting explanation.

Tattoo i think because scars come as a result of accidents while tattoos are a conscious decision from a person. So they reveal more about a person than scars do

A tattoo is a picture and a picture paints a thousand words. A scar might make a good documentary.

Scar. I have many scars and each has its own story. I want a tattoo, but it will be a symbol of something.

BOTH-
I believe that the human body is a canvas for us to showcase our lives, emotions and personal choices. Its just a earthly vessel.

I highly recommend caution with permanent life changes like tattoos or brands even piercings. Life changes you and a mickey mouse on your butt at 40 may not reflect a mature sexy woman as much as a beautiful smooth surface.

I have seen hundreds of naked bodies in my career and everyone is beautiful in its own way. I really mean that-fat, hairy, scarred, burned, tattooed and just regular as you came to earth. Each body had a story to tell. and worth the time to enjoy it.
