If you are able to overcome the excess skin issues, then the tattoo will look better, because it's like zooming in and out with a picture on your computer, you loose and gain quality of the picture. Try it on a rubber balloon, draw a picture, or get a balloon with a picture and look at the picture once you blow it up. the quality degrades, take the air out and your picture becomes more clear and sharper looking. (this also depends on the tattoo, the artist that did it, how old the tattoo is when the person loses weight, and how much detailed the tattoo is to begin with).

Tattoos suck up just like skin does, with variable results. I knew a guy who had full chest plate, was 240 and worked up bigtime; then lost weight due to recreational drugs and the behavior that comes with the territory (JUST SAY NO KIDS) who eventually lost 75 pounds and still had tattoo looking clean and not flopping around with loose skin.
I also knew an average guy who had extensive work throughout his body, got sick enough to die, but didn't. His tattoos wrinkled and pitted until they looked horrible.
It all depends on the individual body and the resilience of their skin to the loss of moisture.

No & then it depends on if the person applying the tattoo is using indian ink or pure ink.. some have a tendency to fade or look like they do not belong on you in the first place..They never shrink in size..

yes either way -big to small small to big its better to get a tattoo where the area shouldn't move too much the shoulder the top of the back the neck -it doesn't always but usually it misshapes the tattoos hence if your a woman you should never get a belly tat because of pregnancy

depends on how he looses weight, if he looses it during exercise then it should look the same, but if the weight loss is mostly due to diet then he could get flabby skin meaning a flabby tattoo.
